I. Simple Present and Present Progressive
Simple Present - S + V (es /s)
S + don’t/ doesn’t + V-inf
* Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi: -sh;-ch;-o;-ss;-x được thêm "es" khi chia với ngôi thứ 3 số ít (ví dụ: wash -- washes; watch -- watches...) * Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi: -y, chúng ta chuyển thành "i" rồi thêm " es" ( ví dụ: study -- studies ...) -
-general statements of fact and timeless truth.
Eg : Water consists of hydrogen and oxygen
- habitual or everyday activities
Eg: I study for two hours every night
- future events that are on a definite schedule or timetable ( open, close, begin, start, finish, arrive, leave, come, return...)
Eg: The museum opens at ten tomorrow morning

- activity that is in progress at the time or round the time of speaking

Eg: Sam has already made his plans. He is leaving at noon tomorrow
